Girls Prep LES Elementary School partners with Roads to Success to provide optional after school programming from 3:45-6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and accommodates early dismissal on Wednesdays. Girls Prep Lower East Side Elementary offers yellow bus service, which is provided by the NYC Department of Education’s Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT). Please call the school's main office for more information: 212-388-0241.

  • White Polo (with Girls Prep logo), navy cardigan/fleece (plain or with the logo)
  • Bottom

  • Navy jumper with logo (navy pants may be worn under the jumper). Leggings (any color) or navy blue shorts under their jumper or skirt.

  • All black, brown or navy blue Mary Jane with ankle strap, or black or navy sneakers.
  • Socks or stockings must be worn every day (any color).

Community Council

The Community Council is a vibrant family-run organization that exists to give families and staff a unified voice in the school. All families are members of the Community Council and are expected to volunteer for at least two hours during the school year. Community Council officer elections will be held at the beginning of the next school year.

Girls Prep LES Middle School provides a free after school program for students until 6 PM, and accommodates early dismissal on Wednesdays. The program includes dance, dramatic arts, chess, math club, engineering, and more. Girls Prep Bronx Middle School provides a free after school program for students until 6 PM. The program, Kaleidoscope, offers yoga, dance, softball, step team, robotics, homework help, and more! Reach out to the main office if you are interested in enrolling your daughter.

Transportation

Boys Prep will not provide bus transportation starting in the 2018-19 school year due to the new facility's convenient location. The future home of Boys Prep Bronx will be 192 East 151st Street, convenient from the 2, 4, and 5 trains as well as the BX 1, 2 and 19 bus. Boys Prep will have student Metrocards, provided by the NYC Department of Education.
