HIGH SCHOOL RESULTS

Our unique model provides personalized high school counseling to ensure all scholars successfully complete the high school application process and ultimately match with a right-fit high school that meets Public Prep's criteria. Elements of our model include: individual family meetings with Director of High School Admissions, College Knowledge class in 7th and 8th grade to educate scholars on the high school application process, nominating scholars for elite high school prep programs like BEAM, TEAK, Prep for Prep, and more, and creating curated lists of high schools that meet Public Prep expectations. 

ENROLLMENT IN SCHOOL WITH GRADUATION RATE >75%

We have made a distinct effort to ensure our scholars are attending high schools with a graduation rate above 75% (and furthermore a post-secondary enrollment rate of above 65%). The percentage of scholars meeting this criteria has increased over time, as seen through the chart below.

ACCEPTANCE IN ELITE HIGH SCHOOL PREP PROGRAMS

Public Prep scholars have been accepted at increasing rates into elite high school prep programs including BEAM, DREAM, TEAK, Oliver Scholars, Prep9, Breakthrough NY, A Better Chance, HEAF, Baruch STEP. The graph below shows the number of acceptances year over year.
